I m using the Apacer USB Flash Drive Handy Steno HN202. Been using it for the past 2 years.

Last week, out of sudden, the drive lock up. Can read but not write. Tried to reformat it but write access was denied. The drive capacity is small but of course, I am not going to throw it away.

Is there anyway to make it useable again?

Can you try to plug in your USB flash drive to another computer and see if it's the same problem?

Thanks for the reply. appreciate it. i did tried to plug in numerous laptop/pc but still the same. is there a way to short circuit / reset it? I don't mind to give it a try. content is no longer important. I just wanna re-use the flash disk. :)

By the way, where do you get the Heroes : Hiro Nakamura fans picts? I just love the series

ok i have found a way to reacover the data...

    You will need:
    xbox 1
    Xbox > usb
    windows xp

    Step 1
put the xbox to usb converter in port 2 and the controller in 1

    step 2
start your xbox 1 without a game

step 3 go to memory and it will say that the data drive has been croppted and reset

    step 4
plug your pen grive into an xp computer

    step 5
    Start>control panel>admin tools> computer magement

    step 6
on the side click storage and dick managment

    step 7
click on the pen drive ( or sometimes known as disk1)

    step 8

now format it by the diskmanger

Done its now ready for work again but all of the old files are gone...
