problem from Creative Sound Blaster 4

Hi all,

When I turned on my PC this evening, I found that the "Enable Audio Effect" in
EAX console did not work properly.

I was able to check the box to enable the audio effect, but just after a few seconds,
the box was unchecked by itself.

Please kindly help if you could!

it may be a loose connection on ur sound card try removin the leads and re insertin them that shud work :)

I have checked this, and the sound card is inserted tight in the PCI slot.

np, thats what my problem usually is otherwise thats my resources used as ive had a long day today :)
