    Hi all,
I really don't know much about PC hardware stuff, so I need your advice on my PC network card: VIA Rhine II Fast Ethernet Adapter.
It seems like an onboard network card...just a guess here actually.
But I am rather concerned about whether it is out-dated or not.

Recently the total download speed of my BitComet and Winmax is found to be very slow, sometimes below 15kbps, which used to be above 100kbps totally.
I have checked that the corresponding ports for the two software are already opened,
so I am thinking if I have to buy a new PC network card for running P2P tools.

    Please kindly advise me!

kwfine, here's what you can do to test your network card.

    Test 10/100 speed with AIDA32.

Then test your internet connection speed on www.speedtest.net
