Sometime i do not know why my computer, when startup nothing display on the monitor, then i press the shutdown button many times and at last it display.
When it able to display, it unable to detect the hard disk and even the BIOS.
I put the xp cd and it can't even detected, so i turn off the switch and open the shell and pull out the busline from the hard disk and plug it in again, i repeated so many times and at last it were able to start and my system able to detect the HDD.

Sometime i find this so annoying, which i have to do the same thing like what i have say above.

Anyone has encountered the same problem here!!!!!
    Need help!!!!!

That's really bad... You might have a bad power supply or motherboard.

ya i also encountered the same problem in few systems among my friends and also in my PC once. No display (the monitor will appear as if the system is in standby mode), no BIOS, no Beep Sounds (error sounds suggesting particular hardware failure), just the power LED in front panel alone will glow.

The dirty, slacky RAM is the black sheep!

The next time you encounter the same problem, first you deel wth your RAM, if not solved then messup with other hardwares.

1.Just unplug the RAM and and replug it firmly, give few tries else try the on some other RAM banks.

2.Else clean the RAM's end terminals which make contact with the RAM slots, with a soft and fresh pencil eraser gently and then try step 1

3.Clean the RAM slots with mild airblow/artistbrush then try step 1

In all my scenario i was done with 1st&2nd never been forced to do the 3rd.
