My keyboard can't type certain letter

the place where i usually type for @ is not working anymore after i install the window again. The '@' is on the keyboard but when i punch it, this " came out instead of @. what should i do?

I think you need to change your Input language
To do this goto Control Panel >> Regional and language settings >> Languages Tab >> click Detail button.
And change your Input language (i think usually "English(United states) US " is used)
