Hi to all.
I just want to ask if a dedicated video in notebooks has a limitation in capacity? I want to buy a notebook which has a 8 MB of dedicated video card. Can I upgrade this 8 MB of video card to 512 MB?
For ex. this is the specs.

Up to 358 MB of Shared Memory
is the key word if you upgrade the ram high enough it will share it but you can not upgrade the videoram directly only thing to do is have them install a better vid card

I mean I will buy an ATI Radeon 512 MB video card so that I could perform gaming. Is this possible?

First of all you cant fit a dedicated graphic card once you bought a notebook.
And I don't think you can increase the size of dedicated graphic card.
SO You have to decide all the things before buying.
Secondly the specs you have posted above has a integrated graphic card
Yes you can increase its memory by sharing your RAM .But they are not as powerful as dedicated.

yes as fahad said on once you buy it its like that forever so pick carefully get like a 256mb nividia 8600 in it
