    Windows xp.....blue screen

    hi....i am having a problem with my computer....yesterday i wanted to off my computer but it kept restarting....so i tried searching in google what is the cause....i found nothing....but i did find a guy asked to turn off the auto restart function in the properties of my computer...so i did....when i off it has this blue screen saying STOP : C000021a (Fatal System Error) and 0x00000000 (0x00000000 0x00000000)...please help me.....i don have a windows xp cd because it was installed in my cpu...and i can't press the f8 button to do the last known good configuration.

    It seems you're going to need to repair your Windows installation or reinstall completely. Is your computer custom made? If not, I might be able to find you a Windows XP OEM disc. Just tell me the version of your XP, Home or Professional.

    yes unfortunately most Pc manyfacturers now charge extra for a boot cd with the Os on it. I had to special order mine from Dell. Anyway the guys can save a buck these days it appears. YASo try searchign ms suport there is a way to restore through command prompt. You may be able to boot in saafe mode with command prompt and restore through there. i recently used this and got lucky but i cannot find the exact reference number right now. I think i searched "restoring trough command prompt with xp" try that
