Need Graphic Card Suggestion
Need graphics card suggestions, mid-range $, Vista 64?
Hey. In need of upgrading my graphics card. It's a new Dell Studio w/ Vista 64. I play mainly games like Call of Duty....not so much into Fallout 3 kinda stuff (not in to the futuristic games). Call of Duty 4 runs good w/ toned down graphics, so I guess I'm wondering if and/or how much of an upgrade do I need? Can't spend a lot of loot, so please don't suggest high-end stuff....my wife ain't havin' it!!!! lol
Here's my specs:

WOW!!! I love your computer!!!! (just a not Fallout 3 isn't futuristic it is 1950 kinda thing) Now your computer shouldn't need too much of a upgrade. If you had windows XP it will run better. but if it is not a option to install windows xp (like on a new partition or something like that) then don't bother

I have pretty close to the exact small model. I knew when I bought that computer that I was going to want to upgrade the graphics card.
I haven't decided yet what I'm going to upgrade to but here is a great resource:

Just look at the PCI Express cards for the price range you are looking for.
And one other important advice. If your model is like mine, you only have a 350 watt power supply unit. Most likely any graphics card you get that is better then then ATI Radeon 3450 will require more wattage than that. I plan on upgrading the power supply unit too when I upgrade my card.

Wow with all that why skimp on the video lol. i amnot familiar with this model i assume its a desktop. Anyway i play Call of Duty well but i wish i had gotten a better graphics card on hte laptop nvidia geforce 8400m GS 256m i do well but with but it is puny by most standards. Find a card you really want then find a game the WIFe likes and tell her you HAVE to have that card to play her game
http://benchmarkreviews.com/index.ph...d=15&Itemid=72 See if this helps then try newegg for the card
