    Firefox 4.0 Beta 5

    The latest Firefox 4 beta has landed bringing with it a couple of new features like hardware acceleration for Windows users and a new audio API. Firefox 4 Beta 5 also comes with a new security feature which enables sites to force HTTPS connections.

    "The latest update to Firefox 4 Beta brings super fast graphics and incredible new audio capabilities to the Web," Mike Beltzner, Mozilla's director of Firefox announced

    Bug Firefox 4.0 Beta 5 Released

    Firefox 4.0 beta 5 has been released.

    Some new additions include:

    The add-on manager has been redesigned with a new color scheme. The functionality on the other hand seems to have remained the same. Still no option to search for and install add-ons from the manager.

    The new single menu at the top has been revamped. It opens additional menus when the user hovers with the mouse over an arrow at the end a particular menu item.
    Further, within windows hardware acceleration is enabled by default.

    This is great. I love the flexibility of Firefox but fear the memory consumption as time passes by. I hope it'll be fixed in this major release.

    totally unimpressed, all this does is perform well on selected benchmarks... im not updating. btw 4b6pre already available w latest jagermonkey engine
