Wink Soluto 1.2.231.0 - (Soluto is bringing an end to PC user frustration)

    What is Soluto Beta?
Soluto Beta allows you to understand your boot, discover which applications are slowing it down (and keep running later in the background, affecting your ongoing experience), and allows you to significantly improve it. While Soluto Beta focuses on the boot, it already researches for frustrations and helps map the PC Genome, allowing you to share your wisdom with others.

Frustrated by your sluggish and unresponsive PC?

Soluto is bringing an end to PC user frustration with transparency, killer technology, and your help.

    The PC problem

Using a PC can be a deeply frustrating experience.
We have all come to expect our computers to be sluggish or unresponsive at times, for no apparent reason.

Unless you’re a power-user, you probably don't know what’s causing the frustrations, those moments where some mysterious process is hogging your PC’s resources. Even if you are a power-user, it can take quite some time to pin-point the causes.

    The Solution to PC problems

Soluto’s goal is to bring an end to the frustrations PC users encounter.
Soluto developed technology that tackles this problem from two different directions:
    • Frustration detection

Our patent-pending low level driver technology detects when you’re frustrated by your PC and tells you which application is causing it.
    • Power of the crowd

Soluto harnesses the power of the crowd to learn which actions really eliminate frustrations and improve user experience, and leverages this user wisdom for the benefit of all PC users.

By using Soluto’s software, you’re putting a whole community of PC power-users at your desk to help you improve your PC experience.

    Pc Genome

Soluto's PC Genome is a knowledgebase of PC frustration data built automatically through the usage of Soluto software. Its objective and statistical information, gathered and analyzed by Soluto, is also editable by the community.

By sheer exposure of this information, Soluto will help software vendors to start prioritizing the user by designing products with a smooth, frustration-free user experience in mind.

    Minimal requirements

    The minimal requirements are:

Windows XP, service pack 2 and above
    512MB of RAM and above

    Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1
(Soluto will install if not present)

    Soluto brings happiness to:

    Windows XP/Vista/7 (32bit & 64bit)

    Current versions:

    Installer: 1.2.39.0
    Soluto: 1.2.231.0

Good one for newbies . Cheers .
I don't need to know everything, I just need to know where to find it, when I need it.

Thank you FunkY although still in Beta i found this to be usefull, looking at the user responses to start up programs, i have very few myself so boot times are good, i would like to see it make it to frutation at some point as the idea is a good one and the explanations behind the program are a worthy read...this particular update seems more stable than the last.........Cheers.
