Thanks for the heads up william! I have used WinOptimizer before and it works pretty well. At least it didn't delete files that my OS needed to run certain programs, like some tuneup utilities have.

I have been there and done that, Bearcat. I am a little weary of this kind of utility. Maybe I will give this one a try. Thanks for the update william.
Linux Distro at the moment Fedora 17 / Firefox 12.0

WinOptimizer actually has some pretty useful utilities. One that I like is called startup tuner, which shows which programs are loading at startup and gives you the option to turn them off. I realize there are other ways to do this, but WinOptimizer makes it really easy to do. It also has a pretty good undeleter module that works as well as any of the freeware I have used, like Recuva. However, it isn't free, so unless you can win a license from some promotion, it will cost you.

Not much of a fan of this type of software and i can't justify the price to be honest, it's now been along time since i have had any software problems or delays, windows has many built in tools that do the job just aswell, but that's just my opinion and it suits me although i do use CCleaner, some of the tools are time savers and there is nothing wrong with that, but the tests i have ran with the reg cleaners and the internet optimizers have yeilded poor results with no noticible gains, maybe defrag and compact the registry once after a fresh install hardly worth the price.

if it's not broken don't fix it..
