As a response to user requests Kingsoft releases a lite version of their well acclaimed PC Doctor. This lite one includes only tune-up features

What's new on Kingsoft PC Doctor Lite?

1. Only tuneup features are included, Lite version is smaller and faster. (Currently 5.6MB)

2. GUI changed for lite version, displaying startup time and cleaning history.

3. PC Health Diagnosis scanning items are changed for tuneup issues only.

4. Add Fix All button after diagnosis, which requires some processes closed beforce proceeding.

5. System Optimizer is renamed to onekey optimizer.

6. Fix bug of onekey optimizer, which may scan some optimized startups again.

7. Improve algorithms to make startup time more accurate.

8. Add more startup suggestions for Startup Booster.

9. Fix bug of Traffic Monitor, which displays wrong numbers after traffic limited.

10. Fix GUI bugs.

Notice: If you want to use this lite version, please uninstall the old version before installing it.

Thank you for the updates Sujay, it's always good to know what takes time in boot up and setting a delayed start is useful although im not sure this software has that feature or-not.. Kingsoft are an improving company and im all for less bloat that is unused and not needed for every day tasks.

Besides the request from our current users who wish to have a Standalone tune-up utility, the main purpose of lite version is for multi-lang project, it will take 3 times more effort to work with multi-lang project when having security module.

Also there is no PRO version and we dont have plan to make it a shareware. Our current roadmap is:

Kingsoft PC Doctor Lite - tuneup features included only, will be updated frequently. (Confirmed)
Kingsoft PC Doctor - just do major update such as 4.0, 5.0 etc, security module included. (Not confirmed yet, will adjust our plan according users' request)

any suggestion or opinion will be highly appreciated
