    The post was rather lapidary indeed. I got the said message when booting from the Linux-based Bitdefender LiveCD, which had started loading Knoppix when the message appeared. I googled for it, without succes, so I posted it here.
    Well, does not matter really, I will use another utility-CD.

    MSDN for Linux help? are you mad, anyway that looked like the daemon udev had started and afterwards it shows the PID or Process Identification
