Angry Virtual Box Crashes With Slackware-based distros

    Hey Guys!!

How come that virtual box always crashes when trying to virtualize Slackware-based distros? I was just virtualizing Zenwalk right now and after the setup and restarting the virtual machine virtual box crashed. And with Slackware after the installation it told me that no system was found.

Does anybody know anything about this?

I've had no problems myself using VirtualBox with Slackware-based distros... how much ram are you giving them for their specs, and what version number of VB are you using?
pacman -Syyu life not found in sync db

Usually I give linux distros 1 GB of RAM. I think it's enough...By VB version you mean VB run time libraries version?

I've used version 3.1.0 for a long time... perhaps that's why I've had no issues. However, as you said, I don't think that's your problem.

Do you accept the defaults when it comes to setting up the virtual computer, that is, in the hard drive area? I think you can choose between SCSI and IDE... and the default is SCSI. I think if you can, IDE would be the better route to go.

At the same time, is you computer powerful enough to use all of it, is the other question too.
