    PlayOnLinux

    Hi

PlayOnLinux is a front-end for wine (Wine Is Not an Emulator). It permits you to easily install Windows Games and softwares on Linux. It is advised to have a functional internet connection PlayOnLinux brings an accessible and efficient solution to this problem, cost-free and respetful of the free softwares.

    Playonlinux supports also plugins:

The plugin-system allows you to configure PlayOnLinux for your own needs.
    1) like to record your gaming use "Capture" (by GNU_Raziel).
    2) If you already have installed your game in Cedega and would like to import it into PlayOnLinux there is "TransgamingCedega" (by Tinou).

When you install applications with Wine all your file are saved in the same prefix. PlayOnLinux uses different prefixes for all applications, so you can have specified configurations, settings and filetrees for each program. So programs will not mess up with another program.

With PlayOnLinux you can't just keep your settings separated, you can also assign one version of Wine for each software!

Have a Nice Journey on PlayOnLinux

I love this program. It makes WINE usable again. To anyone who's tried to configure WINE for multiple (read: 10+) games, you'll know what I mean.

Although, most of the scripts are in french, they're pretty easy to understand

    Good share. +1

PlaysOn Linux and there was another one that was really good... Wine Doors.

Both do the same job, but configure to different apps. Try both, if one doesn't work to how you'd like it to, it's not that hard to switch.

PlaysOn Linux is just a WineDoors for games... Both configure Wine to work with your software, nothing more.
