K3B is my personal favourite, the default in Ubuntu is Brasero, which I personally dislike. K3B's a bit more of a Nero interface, easy to use, and unlike Nero, not bloated.
Though there is also Nero for Linux... but you do have to pay for it.
pacman -Syyu life not found in sync db

I would recommend the following Command-line CD-burning tools
1) Install cdrkit and cdrdao so you can use wodim its actually my favourite
Example: burning an iso ( wodim -v dev=/dev/cdrw isoimage.iso)
Read the man pages it will guide you through

Ahmad, you're the first I've seen recommend a command line CD burner.
While it's not the most user friendly solution, I have to hand it to you for the uniqueness of it

Congrats
lol you beat me then. I'll use the terminal when I can, but I don't know them all the commands off the top of my head. But everything has it's perks, and it's the wonderful think about Linux, you've got many ways to do something.
A question... emacs or vi?

ofcourse hellnoire. Unlike windows your handcuffed lol.
I use vim all the way.. too much C I guess easier and powerful.
What about you?
