    can someone tell me how to install vmware tools in ubuntu 10.4 through command line ?

    Hi Guyz,
    I am trying to install vmware tools in Ubuntu 10.4 through command line but with no luck. can someone help me out.

    I actually didn't think they had a working version for 10.04 yet, but how did you fix it so we might learn from you?

    You would just laugh at the method i used. I have extracted the vmware Tools package to desktop and double clicked vmwareTools.pl file and done installation has started . After the installation was complete i came across text file on how to Install Vmware Tools through command-line.
