    Paragon ExtBrowser

    Paragon ExtBrowser is a Windows based utility that will enable you to work with Ext2FS or Ext3FS partitions under Windows. It is realized through the Windows Name Space Shell Extension mechanism, so after you’ve installed the utility, you get a special unmapped folder in My Computer which you can access by clicking on it.
    As a result you’ve got the choice to work with a Linux native file system:
    ØBrowse its contents;
    ØOpen files/folders;
    ØDelete files/folders;
    ØCopy files/folders;
    ØCreate new folders, etc.

    came across this on the paragon website and may come in useful for some linux users, it's a small download and free... the key is sent to your e mail within minutes ...
    This should have been put on the freeware forum but it is intended for windows users searching linux files
    Sorry if i should have posted elsewhere please delete if it should be moved

    Hi Jay,

    Thanks for the info. I see it works with Ext2 and Ext3, but didn't see Ext4 listed. Since most of the newer versions of Linux Distros are using Ext4, I wonder if the program will work with it?

    I doubt... EXT4 messed that up for a lot of people.

    Le sigh... I can't wait until someone does an EXT4 one... but then we'll have a different file system then.
