Which version should I use?
Heres the situation. I have 3 HDD's installed in my PC and each one of them has a different Linux Distro installed. Fedora is installed on drive 0. Mandriva on Drive 1 and Ubuntu on drive 2. Does this seem a bit like overkill? Well yes, I have to admit it does, but for various reasons, I like them all and can't decide which one I like best! Would you other Linux users mind giving me some input, so I can make an "well informed" decsion?
Thanks, John

Any particular reason you would pick Ubuntu over Fedora?

- Mandriva
- Fedora
- Ubuntu
is my order. Mandriva's fast, flexible, friendly, and light. Fedora's about the same but a bit heavier.
Ubuntu's just a pig.
pacman -Syyu life not found in sync db

My buddy, Vonn tried Wolvix, I did too. Doesn't feel finished yet.

Hi Paul,
In the the above quote, you say Ubuntu is just a pig. In what context do you mean this, because on my system, Ubuntu runs just as fast as any of the other Linux Distros I've tried. It does come with more pre-installed apps than Fedora, or Mandriva, but they can be easily uninstalled. Yes, it does take up more HDD space, but compared to Windows, its minor. I know you've said before that you don't care for the Gnome desktop, so is that Ubuntu's biggest drawback for you?
Best regards,
John
