Heres the situation. I have 3 HDD's installed in my PC and each one of them has a different Linux Distro installed. Fedora is installed on drive 0. Mandriva on Drive 1 and Ubuntu on drive 2. Does this seem a bit like overkill? Well yes, I have to admit it does, but for various reasons, I like them all and can't decide which one I like best! Would you other Linux users mind giving me some input, so I can make an "well informed" decsion?

My first choice Ubuntu
Second choice Fedora

Any particular reason you would pick Ubuntu over Fedora?

is my order. Mandriva's fast, flexible, friendly, and light. Fedora's about the same but a bit heavier.
Ubuntu's just a pig.

Fedora is bolder than UbuntuAny particular reason you would pick Ubuntu over Fedora?

i too noticed that,now a days even xubuntu is slower.I too plan to switch i having hard time to choose between Mandriva,Fedora and salix(or) Wolvix. Originally Posted by hellnoire

I know you've said before that you don't care for the Gnome desktop, so is that Ubuntu's biggest drawback for you?
