How To Use Tata Docomo GPRS in Ubuntu

Hi all
recently i installed ubuntu 9.10 in my system, because i am a windows user so all is new here for me, and to look anything and understand it i need internet for which i am using tata docomo gprs in windows but in linux i followed the standard procedure to connect through it but was unsuccessful i applied everything from APN to DNS but still whenever i click connect button on network icon on task bar it changes to phone icon for a while and then disconnects, kindly help me out from this situation

How about update to the new version (Ubuntu 10.04) which apparently works fine with it.

thx for link paul , most proably i wont use it as i hate slow net speed but still useful
