Thumbs up A big Thumb Up for Ubuntu 10.10

Ubuntu 10.10 rc has been released few days before and I, as a curious guy , have installed to test it. I own a Toshiba laptop which has had a lot of problems with previous releases of Ubuntu or even with other linux distros.
The biggest problem I had was the FAN. It didn't worked as it should, was always ON. The noise was so loud, plus the battery life was short.
I was really suppressed when the FAN problem has been resolved on Ubuntu 10.10 rc. Now everything is working fine, FAN starts when CPU gets hot and then slows down. My laptop is way colder when on Ubuntu, Windows 7 makes it get too hot some times. Also the FN keys are working, they didn't worked on previous releases. I can easy decrease the screen light or the sound volume.
Now waiting for the final release to make the upgrade with much pleasure

I want to thank all the developers of Ubuntu for their great work they have done. Hope to see more good works from them

So you installed W7 first, and Ubuntu 10.10 RC second. Any tips?

    Bug

    1. Install Windows first:
    a. Install Windows XP (if you gonna make a triple boot ) see more info
    b. Install Windows 7
    2. Install Ubuntu

    More info HERE

Or you can do the easy way using Wubi
