    Aiuto installazione Lubuntu

Qualcuno saprebbe aiutarmi o comunque consigliarmi qualcosa?

Minimum requirements for lubuntu are comparable to Pentium II or Celeron systems with a 128 Mb RAM configuration, which may yield a slow yet usable system with lubuntu.
This are the minimum requirements for Lubuntu, so I think your PC can handle Lubuntu OS. Maybe it's the CD/DVD drive or the problem it's on the CD/DVD you burned. Try burning a new CD at low speed and if this doesn't work try installing Lubuntu to your HDD using another PC.

Grazie mille in anticipo.

I can understand Italian but rules are rules and here you should write in English
As for the installation you need to open the MOBO case or connect your PC HDD as a external to the other PC. Then boot from the CD and when it comes to the Install Location choose the external/your HDD. After installation finish, mount the HDD to your PC and everything will be fine I hope you will understand me

    Ciao
    benvenuto

you have to write in english indeed.

Please go to your user account profile and set you language to English.
What you see is only a bad automatic translation

I also had problems with loading Ubuntu 10.10 from live cd and my PC is more than capable of running it, so it must have something to do with my DVD/RW, which came with the PC and is 4 years old. Up until this version of Ubuntu, I haven't had any problems, so I wonder what is different about 10.10. And yes, I tried downloading another .iso file and burning it to cd, just in case the first one was bad. Got the same results.

Lubuntu I found buggy, but I found it much more stable to install it outright then to try testing it.

Might be something you have to do.

If Lubuntu is like the new version of Ubuntu that I burned to cd, then he might not be able to get the installer work either. I know I couldn't with Ubuntu. May have to break down and buy a new DVD/RW for my PC, because I did get the live cd to run properly on my laptop.

Hi everybody, excuse me for the previous posts in intalian, I didn't know the rule. Anyway I haven't solved my problem and I thought some other way to instal Lubuntu on my pc. It could be that the pc has some problems with CD's, what if I burn Lubuntu on a DVD's? I'm gonna try it.
Another way could be install it using a pen drive by the usb port? Someone has never tried?

The language isn't so bad if someone understands you...

You could try burning it to DVD, or like the Ubuntu to USB apps, you could try that. I just found the installer buggy no matter what way I tried installing it.
