How do I run IDM under Wine?

I am currently on Ubuntu 10.10..will upgrade as soon as the newer version comes out.

The problem is, I've installed IDM with a genuine license under Wine but it doesn't seem to download anything. I add a URL and IDM just stays put with the File info in their list. Not DL speed, not ETA, nothing. How do I get it to work? I dunno whether this belongs here or the SOFTWARE section, but i posted it here nevertheless.

Might not be working with Wine.

Er..hellnoire..I'm not so experienced with Linux as I am with Windows..I'm still learning the basics. What database are you talking about?

AppDB/WineDB, off of the main Wine page.

By the looks of it, the answer is it can't run.

i am also looking for same thing but nothing is as good as IDm in terms of feature.

You cant go wrong with JDownloader and it has ton's of features.
