    Which Linux live USB creator?

Hey Guys - Need some advice here. I've installed various flavours of Linux in the past but never really stuck with any. Would like to take another look now and prefer to setup a bootable USB flash drive (installing Kubuntu to a 16GB flash drive).

I'd prefer if the software were portable and created a persistent install. I'm leaning toward Universal USB Installer, any recommendations would be appreciated.

    TIA,
    Cheers....Jim

If you're aim is only to try out different distros you can also look at Multiboot USB Creators such as YUMI or XBOOT which can pack several distros into one pen drive. Persistent installs are most probably not supported and hence these software are only good for trying out many distros.

I don't need to know everything, I just need to know where to find it, when I need it.
