    moonOS

Since Ubuntu disappointed me, I was looking for an alternative....and I think I found it You guest it, it's moonOS!

    About

moonOS is a complete and fully functional operating system based on the GNOME, LXDE, Enlightenment DR17 window managers and powered by the popular Ubuntu Linux Distribution. moonOS has it own File Hierarchy System and use Appshell Framework. moonOS is perfect for any Desktop, Laptop PC or even for a Virtual Machine. moonOS's focus is on Utter Speed, Low Memory and Great Looks!

    System Requirements

Being based on Ubuntu, moonOS will basically run as well, if not better, on any decent, current hardware; by using Enlightenment instead of Gnome, your experience with moonOS should actually be much, much more snappy
    -Enjoy freedom at blazing speeds!

    700 MHz x86 processor
384 MB of system memory (RAM)
    8 GB of disk space
Graphics card capable of 1024x768 resolution
A network or Internet connection is neededif you want to download extra software

Latest version is moonOS 4 'Neak' and is currently available with the GNOME only, in 32 bits.

    Download moonOS

If you are looking for a user friendly and main OS. I believe Mint is better.

Nope, I have used Mint (latest versions) and it runs slower on my 4 years old laptop.

Mint I've love to drop a nuke on You make my life too simple, and you'll make me wish I actually had a social life.

Hence why I use Arch - bit more complex, customize to nth degree... very tempted to switch back to a Debian base, seeing as a lot more supports it... but at the same time, don't want to since a lot more bad things have been coming from Debian based distros...

Or as we say around these parts, "I'd rather be shot in the head with a deer rifle..."
