LGA1156, don't care too much on brand. Gigabyte has messed me over, and the board I messed up was an ASUS. And hopefully with Realtek sound, or something else that works in Linux.

I knew that, but if your girl friend is still living in the states, she could take delivery and then get it to you. Unless its against the law to ship computer parts of the US. Not sure if it is legal or not.

Yup, I remember you saying that on FB and its really too bad. Growing up in Minnesota, I've been up to Canada quite a few different times and it didn't ever feel like going into "foreign country" to me. In fact I considered moving up to Canada when I was in my 20's. Now with everything going on in the US lately, I really wished I had.
