Modem Drivers for Linux

Hi,

Can any one provide me with the link to download

Standard 33600 bps Modem drivers for Linux (Ubuntu 8.01).

In winXP the drivers hint i got is, It's listed something below.

standard 33600 bps modem 5.1.2535.0

I haven't installed ubuntu yet, want to make sure, I have the drivers, before i install the OS, as one of the primary use will be surfing the net.

am sorry!, I posted same question again, thinking that, earlier i posted in wrong section (General), and the question should have been posted in Linux section.

does any one have a slightest of hint ?
I've the driver of the modem for windows ?, but can i find the same for Linux (Ubuntu).
