Need Help About W980 SMS Tone

Anyone know how to extend W980 SMS tone duration?When I use my mp3 as sms tone it only play for 10 sec...I want to extend the duration for whole length of the mp3.Thx in advance

If you're able to save the recording of the tone to a PC, you can use Audacity to copy and paste those ten seconds for however long you want.

Check with your manual does it supports such function. I don't have such problems with my W550i it plays the whole mp3 tune, no matter how long.

umm actually i want to play the whole song as message tone until i read the message.The problem now is the mp3 song that I use only playing for 10 second...and then stop.So I want to extend it length until it play the whole song.I thought Audacity just for edit song

No,it did not support this.. I believe.But since other SE phone can use certain patch or ways to tweak this so i am wondering if i can do the same with my w980..any help will be appreciated Thx
