The best option is go to Sony ericsson service center and upgrade your firmware
may be you upgrade your firmware from home using Sony ericsson PC suit, Sony ericsson software upgrader and a data cable but I am not sure about that because I upgrade my NOKIA phone 3110c software using same method.

Get it to a service centre and say your problem.do not upgrade the firmware because it would carry over the settings what you could do is flash your phone but you will lose everything stored in the phone contacts and messages in phone memory.so you can copy them over to your sim card.Then they could flash it in the service centre and this SHOULD solve your problem.

Did u try to restore d factory Settings...???

My problem was a Phone virus...I flashed W660 software to it using SeTool and Xs++...Now i got skinnable walkman and flash themes
