Just found out that Samsung has a new phone that supports 2 sim card simultaneously. I think it's about time that the major phone manufacturers to come out with a dual-sim card phone. I believe they know how to do it but they are slowing it down because they'd definitely have a slight drop in cellphone sales.

I've seen many people carrying two phones because they are using different networks. I carry a PDA and I always find it too big to fit in my pocket. I wonder what about those people who carry 2 phones?

    Samsung SGH-D880

The Samsung SGH-D880 has a recommended retail price of RM 1,799.00. So where are you Nokia?

I think I saw this phone sometime...or maybe it just looks quite alike the previous models.
    I think it's just me.....
Why would a person need a dual sim phone anyway?

    There are similar Samsung designs.

Some people require 2 sim cards because 1 is for personal and the other is for work. Usually people who are doing sales has 2 sim cards.

I too have 2 sim card. The first one I had it for many years already and I got the second one because of promotion. Just USD1.5 per month and I can talk and sms to my principle and other supplementary for free.

I still find it quite expensive to use two sim cards in Croatia. I have to buy tokens to be able to phone people and send SMS. They're not that cheap either. I always spend $10 on just one token per month because I've cut down the usage of my mobile phone since I was losing money at a very fast rate.

I think 2 sim card is a very nice idea, although in the U.S. I know it's not very common to have two cell phones and alot of my friends who are in big business just use one phone and don't have a problem with it.
