LG Shine problem

Hey guys, I am having a problem with my LG Shine when it is playing music. Whenever the music is on, I only hear the background music and no vocals. Sometimes, the voice will pop up but no much. But when I use speaker phone to play the music out loud, everything is fine. I have tried unplugging and wiggling the earphone connected to my phone but it didn't help at all. Any suggestions? Thanks

possible reason - faulty earphone or earphone jack/socket.

to verify this, use any other spare earphones. if it works then - it's earphone problem.

My phone has a special earphone jack so I will try to find another pair to test that, I guess there's no way of fixing that myself? Thanks for your help

try switch it (somehow) to "stereo", because it might be on "mono" which means, it either plays the background OR the vocals.

Thanks for the idea Michael, but do you think maybe my earphone wouldn't play the mp3 correctly because it's like a earphone with a mic sort of like a headset?
