If it's a music track that you want, try searching for the erm..

Oh damn.. the word flew out of my head.. I think it's called Backing Sound but it just flew out of my head..

I have no idea how to do that as well. Most of the time I'll try to search for the "instrumental" or "acapella" version of it.
