    Read Ed Bott's 3 page article on how to download and install the new iTunes and have some options.
    Interesting that Apple allows no options or selection in the install. Everybody gets everything, whether they want it or not. If a MicroSoft program did that, there would be screaming around the world and many lawsuits (remember IE?).

    Nice to see an alternative way Ande rather than a fullblown bloatware version, ITunes doesn't appeal to me, and Apple are really inflexible with all their software, i would take linux anyday over Apple..

    unfortunately i have to install itunes as it upgrades the firmware in my ipod
