Audacity can do this to some tracks...

    a. Import your stereo file into Audacity.
    b. Open the track menu (click the arrow next to the track title), and choose “Split Stereo Track.”
    c. Select the lower track (the right channel) by clicking it in the area around the mute/solo buttons.
    d. Choose “Invert” from the Effects menu.
    e. Using the track menus, change each track to “Mono".
    f. Press the Play button to hear the results.

It's almost impossible to completely remove the vocals from audio. A soft hiss will be still heared in the background no matter which software you try.

    Screw Google! Ask me!

I don't think there is a way to take out vocals from in mp3.
That's why normally there are two versions of mp3 which is instrumental and acapella for DJs to remix.
