help me with the songs

Yesterday i was searching for some mp3 downloading site for downloading some songs.
There were many sites but i could not get the songs i wanted to download.
Then i found a site where i could download those songs.
I downloaded them but now the problem is that the when i play them on
VLC player it does play them but the song plays as if i am playing it from a badly tempered audio cassettee .
It appears as if it stops and then suddenly starts again
it is actually of a really bad quality .
can i repair them somehow??

If it's really bad quality, there's no way to make it good.

Sounds like some extremely compressed mp3s or even some sort of flash media. Many places will stream these files because they are smaller and less of a burden to their bandwidth but the quality is almost pre-FM. Look at the file size. Anything under 2 or 3 megs will probably be sub-par in quality.

When in doubt best try Google. It may be your best friend. I'll have to ask Raymond if listing Google search tricks is allowed, most places consider it a hack and I don't wanna go there. Did I mention searching Google? :)
