Proxy Server How to play CS 1.6 Online

Hi Friends
I got a problem, my college ISP is proxy based, ask for username n password..
Also we have to enter proxy server address in network options of firefox or any application for internet access.
CS 1.6 has no proxy server options now how can i play online???
I tried Proxifier 2.7 but failed to configure it as i have never known how it works..
PLZ help..

Gaming with open proxy is possible but you will get kick off the server. Even BolenVPN is not meant for gaming.

Hmmm I wanted to ask the same question as well. I have exactly the same Internet/Network setup. I also want to play CS: CZ over Internet online.

I've tried looking for a way but was unable to find one. PING is due to our ISP routing and there is nothing we can do about it.

Let's say that normally we play CSS.
Your PC -> Your ISP -> CSS Server

If you use proxy or vpn,
Your PC -> Your ISP -> Your Proxy/VPN -> CSS Server

As you can see that the connection is even further, which makes your PING even higher.

But cs has no proxy server option so it stops at:

Your PC -> Your ISP -> Your Proxy/VPN

is there a way to complete the chain...
we dont mind playin at high ping but atleast we should be able to see a server...

Where do you live ginzon? (Probably we both are from the same city? as we have exactly same way of Internet connection)

I live in Mumbai=>Powai
but the ISP is my college not my home ISP....
