The only thing I could think of for XP Home (Pro has this feature built in), is encryption software, like AxCrypt. Encrypt the files on one PC, then install AxCrypt on all the other PCs.
When you open a file with AxCrypt, it will pop up with the password prompt. And before you ask, it's open source, free, legal, and safe. I used to run it before I went to Linux and started learning it.

Not to my knowledge. I went looking around the internet and couldn't find any hacks for XP Home.

ok i activated the "guest" user and put a password now everytime i try to connect to my computer from another 1 i need to put a password for the "guest" account.
but now i want to know something else:
i need to put a password but the problem is that if i close the window, when i enter the shared documents again i dont need to put the password, windows remember my password!
what can i do if i want that the password won't be memorized by the computer that connects to me?
thank you very much!

I think you know what I mean.
Anyway, in the time you took to reply, I looked around some more. Nothing I could find myself, you might want to take a look too. Sorry mad_eye.
