team viewer concerns
I recently discovered a former employees computer had team viewer software installed on it and showed the names of various employees computers on it without their knowledge. Could this ghost network have been set up to spy on other employees actiities without heir knowledge?

It would be a very unorthadox method to use TeamViewer, but there is the possibility being there. If they knew the passphrase and the computer ID, it wouldn't be that hard to do. However, he couldn't get any passwords, only sensitive data that was not hidden behind the stars of a password, assuming no tools to reveal passwords were using on said PCs. Otherwise, what he got would have gotten is minimal.
I'd still look into it deeply though, and take what I'm saying here as a suggestion. I know I don't have any sensitive data on my PCs when using VNC software, but in this case... you might want to check yourself and see what others say as well.

Teamviewer only works in visible mode, so I don't think it can be used to spy on employees.
