router problem

hye..i got problem with my router,i'm from malaysia, i cant access my internet when connecting the router,but if i use direct from modem to pc, there is no problem? why? i already setup it again n again but still not working, can anyone give me the correct method to setup the router? oh one thing to mention, we r using cable to connect from router to 4 pc.
i use window xp pro, my router is Dl-604..thnks and i a streamyx broadband

Check this 2 values in your router.
VPI = 0
VCI = 35

If you have a higher value of VCI, your router wouldn't connect even if you entered the correct streamyx login information.

erm.where i can find that vpi n vci on my router..i open my router gui but didnt find it.oh..i use dl-604 ethernet broadband router ,firmware version:V3.20

I just read the manual and don't have VPI and VCI. Forget about that for now.
Log in to your Router, go to Status and then Log.
Do you see your router trying to connect to Streamyx?
Also, did you use Dynamic PPPoE?

oh,thnks alot..yup.i use dynamic ppoe.but in status it say my ppoe is disconnect, i try connect by using the button below it but it keep refreshing again n again, n lastly still not connect

Try resetting it to default factory settings and reconfigure everything from scratch.
