Search How to connect PC to TV Wirelessly

One of my friend is trying to buy equipment which can connect his laptop to LCD TV via WiFi. His laptop is already equipped with WiFi. Heard something about Digital Media Receiver (DMR) which can solve his problem, but I don't have much details about it and am unable to get much from net. Can anyone have idea and what kind of equipment (in specific) he may have to buy to solve his problem.

Well, it depends which way you'd like to go.... do you want to use the TV and make it appear on your computer? Or would you like to use the TV as the output device?

I've done the first one... the TV as input, that's a simple TV card for you. As for output.. off the top of my head, I'd say it could do it too, but I'm not sure.

I connect my laptop to my TV with a simple cable, I do not know what it is called because I didn't buy it. However, only my laptop display is shown on my TV; the sound still comes out from my laptop speakers.

I use 4 HDTV's for my monitors. I run 2 DVI and 2 HDMI. All wired. Wireless is harder. You'll need something like this:
    http://compare.ebay.com/spid/20177793?fl=120394008459&ltyp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=vl&sort=PricePlusShippingLowest

Although that particular piece of junk wouldn't touch my setup. It's only 480i (composite). To watch 480i on a 1080p tv is.... criminal.
