Have you done an IPCONFIG/Release/Renew?
Have you tried to repair the connection by right clicking on the connection icon and repairing it that way?

Maybe the acess point owners has changed his wireless router channel...Or the wireless router is near metal objects. Cuz this objects cause interference and the connection will be weak.
Screw Google! Ask me!

That's true. There could be interference causing the signal to drop.
Try changing the channel if you can. Happened to my friend, her wifi is really slow and when I checked, there were many AP on channel 6 (which is default for most router). Changed it to another channel and it's fast.

Thanks for reply, but the signal drops is happening to every router i use
and ipconfig has been tried and didnt helped, windows keeps saying nothing is wrong. i wonder i broke my card somehow ?

It's strange...I don't know what else to say. Anyways if you have broken your card you wouldn't be able to connect to any wireless spot. Hmmmm...do you have firewall installed?...even though I'm not sure if a firewall can drop the connection. It may only cause low speed.

How long did you wait before renewing?
I usually wait about 30 seconds, I forgot to add that. Might be worth looking into. And try disabling any software firewall like Alboguy suggests. PC Tools Firewall used to play havoc with my wireless.

I can think of three other probable cause.
1. Some wireless adapters are lousy made and they get very hot after using it a while causing the performance to drop.
2. You have a faulty wireless adapter.
3. Update the wireless adapter driver
