Blocking all Torrent and P2P.
Recently , I moved to my cousin's firm and I am working Sales Force Dev.
Cool office , with absolutly no rules and restrictions , but I have seen people using P2P and torrents for downloading movies.
I have taken the issue with my Network admin and the stupid fellow doesn't understand the consequences of this and is taking the issue lite. I told him that ( leave illegal part ) constantly IP's are monitered by MPAA , Anti-Infringement etc etc and if IP is caught , office would be doomed.None of the stupid fellow knows about Public or private tracker etc etc. They just search for a moive, start downloading and are not bothered about its source.
Is there any way to block Torrents and P2P in office.

Yes, there is a way. But If your Neetwork admin is unwilling to do that, you can't do it on your own.
Also, you might consider restructuring your security and user setup on the office PC.
The best thing is to restrict their access as a user and remove all programs you don't need.
After that they wont be able to install anything.
But seriously, if it's your firm, and the network admin is not willing to do this himself, you might consider a new network admin who will do his job.

What security products do you install in your office? Do you have any firewall?
Thoughts are like a never ending ocean where it is deep, endless and dangerous

You could block all the ports except 80 & 8080, 8000 on the firewall.....and put a speed barrier.

I think you should report the issue to the law enforcement before you get caught in it, too?

tell you Network /It admin to do this.
type gpedit.msc in run or command prompt
user configuration\system\Don't run specified Windows applications
enable it and config the application name eg. e.g., Winword.exe, Poledit.exe, Powerpnt.exe.
Description:-
Prevents Windows from running the programs you specify in this setting.
If you enable this setting, users cannot run programs that you add to the list of disallowed applications.
This setting only prevents users from running programs that are started by the Windows Explorer process. It does not prevent users from running programs, such as Task Manager, that are started by the system process or by other processes. Also, if you permit users to gain access to the command prompt, Cmd.exe, this setting does not prevent them from starting programs in the command window that they are not permitted to start by using Windows Explorer. Note: To create a list of disallowed applications, click Show, click Add, and then enter the application executable name (e.g., Winword.exe, Poledit.exe, Powerpnt.exe).
