how do torrent servers maintain leech and seeder list

how do torrent server detect number of seeders and leechers?leechers are those which remove their torrent after downloading,right? If so how will the torrent server know that the particular client is leeching?

trackers will be embeded in the torrent file you are downloading.it tracks the users.

as for i know everybody connected to the torrent are called peers.The people who have completed D/L and are uploading are called seeders.others are called leeches.

seeders are people who have already downloaded the file and are uploading them the more seeders the faster the download will go

leechers are people who are sharing what they have and are downloading what you have

when searching torents always get high seeded torents if there is no seeders you will never finish the download no matter how many leechers there are

Yep yep. Leechers are the downloaders, seeders are done the downloads.
