    ::1 localhost in Windows 7 64bit OS?

    I just take a look at Host file.
    There are:
    127.0.0.1 localhost (I know this is normal).
    ::1 localhost (what is it? I don't see it in Windows XP).

    luffy windows 7 supports both IPv4 & IPv6 in IPv4 the loopback interface address is 127.0.0.1 and in IPv6 the loopback interface address is denoted as ::1.
