Printer Network Problem

but there should be some place where windows has installed it , i cant find that too

i contacted hp and they said its out of warranty so cant help

Apparently in selecting it when you install it though the Devices and Printers, you can check with Windows Update which should have it. It's the only thing other then installing the XP driver in compatibility mode.

Is there no Vista-driver for your printer, and if so, did you try that one?

Kees, I've checked to see what they say about Vista, and it's the same thing: should be in Windows Update.

When you go to the Add New Hardware wizard, should ask you if it can check Windows Update for the driver. That's when you check.
