Using Hotspot Shield Behind a Proxy?

    Hi all,
i need to use hotspot shield to access some US only services, but the problem is that i can connect to the internet only using my college proxy, you have to login into proxy before you can access the internet, so i use proxifier to route all the traffic though proxy.
between all this i am not able to figure out how to use hotspot shield(it just keeps on searching for server), any ideas?

If you need to connect to proxy in order to get online, chances are you can't get it to work with HotspotShield.
Hotspotshield itself is a vpn service and I don't think it has proxy support.

Any other round-about you may recommend to be able to view US only content.
I tried setting up a proxy chain and it worked but i guess i compromised on anonymity.

PS: i used proxifier to set the proxy chain, but the problem is that you can have only one HTTP proxy in the list, any other way/method you can share to set a proxy chain?

It forces an advertisement bar to cover their "free" service.

is it safe to use HotSpot Shield? or is there a better alternative to it?

have tried to use CyberGhost some time ago but it took to long especially in the "queue"...and SecurityKISS cannot connect...

    just asking.

The last time I tested HotspotShield, it is fast. The only thing you need to tolerate is the advertisement bar.
