Unstable Wifi Connection
I am using a TP-Link usb for connecting to the wifi router. My laptop is Panasonic Toughbook CF-50, using Windows XP SP 3. Until recently it was all fine but since 2 days i was unable to connect to my router. It gets connected for 1 second then it immediately disconnects. I have tried restarting my router and reinstalling the driver for my TP-link usb but no success. One thing more. If i use a 3G usb device then i get connected to the internet without any problem. Can anyone please help me out? Thanks

First off try system restore and eliminate some posibilites, you can always hardwire your laptop to see if this problem has been encountered on the manufactures website..
What signal strength can you see ?

I've already tried system restore but it did'nt work. Now just reinstalled windows xp SP 3 but the result is same. I can see 4 bars in the signal strength window. My brother's laptop connects easily with the same router.

Open cmd run netsh winsock reset catalog. Restart your computer and update here...
I don't need to know everything, I just need to know where to find it, when I need it.

Yes Indra, Only difference in manual and automatic. For people who are not familiar with the manual, will be a little tricky with it. It is easier to use the automatic only.
