internet explorer not displaying

im connected to the internet and its sayin i got connection but webpages arent being displayed all the other computers in my house are working fine but my laptop wich is windows xp by the way willl not display the web page if you have any suggestions please post... thanks alot... ^copcutt^

What are you using? IE7?
What does the error say?
Have you tried to refresh the page multiple times?

Man, these long sentences without full stops really twist my mind...
Perhaps your laptop is not configured correctly? Check your DNS settings.
