i got 5 pc in office network same workgroup, but i share out folder on pc01 but i dun want few pc can acess and view my pc01 folder. what can i do?

You can use the dollar sign $ at the end of the share name. This will hide the share from being displayed on the network.
When you want to access the share, you'll have to type \\computername\sharedfolder$
Or you can disable simple file sharing from Folder Options.

got other choise? if i want other pc view my share folder on pc01 using password . izit can do that?

Now i can see security and sharing tabs, but how i add network user and access the share folder.

Right click My Computer, select Manage. Expand system tools > Local users and Groups > Users.
You can create users there.

1st after i add network user and i can access the share folder. but i wrong press delete user and i add the network user back. suddenly come out message >)contact administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.) what can i do?

You have to add the user back to the shared folder.

already add the user back to the shared folder but still cant access. my windows got log in user name and password. when i add the user back in user management izit need to put the same password with log in password?
can u please show me how to step by step to add user to the shared folder?
