Thanks Ray for your helpful article about sharing internet without router.
By the way, I face another case.
My idea might be a little bit strange. I am preparing a temporary office for a conference, so I don't want to spent to much dollar.
The room has wireless internet. I have some computers with wireless adapter to connect to the internet, but some others have no adapter. Since I have an extra switch and UTP cables, I have an idea to connect one computer with internet to switch to share the internet to other computers those do not have the wireless adapter. Is that possible?

I think this is what he meant. He have computers with wireless and some computers don't have. So for the one that he doesn't have wireless, he would connect it on the computer with wireless to share the internet. And he is asking if it is possible.

OK, so he'll using one of his computer that has both wired and wireless adapter to share Internet to other computers via cable. I'm not really sure if that is doable, but you can try enabling ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) for the ethernet adapter.

Thanks, Ray, I will try it and let you know how it works.
